## 1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how VideoDryer (“the Application”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Application. By downloading, installing or using the Application, you agree to the terms described in this Policy.

## 2. What the Application Accesses

Photos. The Application asks for full access to your photo library, subject to your authorization through Apple’s system prompt, to find your videos, read them, save compressed copies and, only if you turn that option on and confirm in iOS, delete originals. Videos stored only in iCloud are downloaded by the system through the Photos framework.

Files. If a compressed video cannot be stored in Photos (AV1), the Application saves it to a folder you choose. It remembers the folder so that you do not have to choose it again.

Network status. The Application checks whether the device is on Wi-Fi so that it can download iCloud videos only on Wi-Fi when that setting is on. It sends nothing over the network itself.

## 3. What the Application Stores on Your Device

The drying queue and its progress, temporary pieces of videos being compressed, your settings, the date of the first launch and whether the badge notice was shown, and a record that the purchase was made. These are kept in the Application’s own storage on your device and are not sent anywhere. Videos you send through the Share menu are copied to storage shared between the Application and its Share extension. Settings has a button that clears temporary files. Everything is removed when you delete the Application.

## 4. Information We Do Not Collect

The Application does not collect, transmit or have access to personal information. It makes no network requests of its own. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software development kit (SDK), requires no account, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Your videos are never uploaded to the developer or to any server operated by the developer.

## 5. Third-Party Services

The Application does not share information with third parties. Where it uses Apple system services (Photos, iCloud, Files and the App Store), those services are governed by Apple’s own privacy practices, available at [apple.com/legal/privacy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

The purchase that removes the badge is processed by Apple. The developer does not receive your payment details or Apple Account information and sees only the sales figures that Apple reports.

This website uses Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic, only if you accept it in the notice shown on the page. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is separate from the Application, which does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics.

## 6. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

## 7. Your Rights

Because the developer does not collect or store personal data about you, there is no developer-held data to access, correct or delete. You keep full control of your videos and of the permissions you grant. You can withdraw the Photos permission at any time in the system settings of your device.

## 8. GDPR: European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland: the Application does not act as a data controller or data processor for your personal data, because no such data is transmitted to or processed by the developer. The data subject rights in GDPR Articles 15–22 therefore have no developer-held data to apply to. No international transfer of personal data by the developer occurs.

## 9. CCPA/CPRA: California Residents

For California residents: the developer does not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and has not done so in the preceding twelve months. No personal information is collected, so the rights to know, delete, correct or opt out have no developer-held data to apply to.

## 10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

## 11. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy may be sent to the developer at the address below.
